Facilitate key Agile Release Train (ART) events, including PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, System Demos, Retrospectives, and Inspect and Adapt workshops.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and cross-functional teams to ensure clear alignment, open communication, and effective collaboration.
Identify, track, and help resolve risks, issues, and dependencies impacting the ART’s progress and delivery.
Promote the use of Lean-Agile practices and encourage ongoing learning and process refinement within the ART.
Provide timely, transparent updates on progress and impediments to stakeholders at all organizational levels.
Support teams in capacity planning, process improvements, and adoption of best practices.
Foster a safe, trusting environment that encourages team problem-solving and innovation.
Drive operational excellence and continuous process improvement throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Assist in managing change initiatives and supporting successful implementation across teams.
Requirements
Obligatory
Experience and Skills:
Experience working in Agile environments (e.g., as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or in similar cross-team leadership roles).
Strong facilitation and organizational skills to enable effective planning events, retrospectives, and cross-team collaboration.
Solid understanding of product or solution delivery processes (in technical, business, or related settings).
Demonstrated ability to identify and help solve impediments, risks, and dependencies that impact delivery.
Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives with or across teams.
Leadership Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with diverse stakeholders, resolving conflicts, and building consensus.
Ability to support team goals and remove obstacles to help teams deliver effectively.
Preferably
Prior experience as a Release Train Engineer (RTE) or leading Agile Release Trains, or experience with other scaled Agile frameworks (e.g., LeSS, Nexus, Spotify model).
SAFe Release Train Engineer or other Agile/Scaled Agile certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Master, SAFe Agilist).
Experience mentoring or coaching teams in Agile or Lean frameworks.
Experience with Atlassian stack tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and business intelligence (BI) systems.
Experience working in complex, cross-functional, or large-scale project/program environments.
Experience with Agile transformation initiatives in non-IT units such as support, marketing, or sales departments.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to facilitate constructive change.
Experience navigating organizational change.
