Quantitative Financial Engineer (Digital Assets)

Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize pricing models and execution logic for spot and perpetual futures on crypto venues
- Design and implement market-making, arbitrage, and latency-sensitive strategies across centralized and potentially decentralized venues
- Integrate real-time market data and trading APIs from major exchanges and liquidity providers
- Monitor and refine strategy performance, spreads, and fill ratios, ensuring strong market presence
- Lead backtesting and deployment of proprietary pricing engines and execution algorithms
- Collaborate with developers to enhance trading infrastructure and automation
- Ensure reliability of pricing, order routing, and hedging systems in high-frequency trading environments
- Support live trading operations and act as a point of escalation for pricing or execution anomalies
- Work with leadership and product teams to launch and support new crypto instruments
Requirements
- 5+ years in quantitative trading or financial engineering, with at least 3 years focused on crypto (spot and perpetuals)
- Proven experience developing trading models for arbitrage, market making, and hedging in crypto
- Strong understanding of order book dynamics, liquidity aggregation, and exchange connectivity (REST/WebSocket APIs)
- Expertise in Python (or similar) for modeling and strategy development
- Experience working with real-time pricing, volatility models, and execution engines
- Familiarity with latency optimization and trading infrastructure in crypto
- Prior experience in a quant role at a crypto trading firm, broker, or exchange is strongly preferred
