Own the futures roadmap, P&L and budget proposal. Define client segments, initial exchanges and contracts, commercial pricing, partner onboarding and the criteria for adding markets.
Design the introducing, executing and clearing model with Legal, Risk and Operations. Evaluate fully disclosed and omnibus accounts, legal entities, client money treatment, transfers and downstream broker distribution rights.
Negotiate clearing, execution, technology, market data and account fees. Compare complete broker packages against modular arrangements using all-in economics, operating responsibility, portability and service resilience.
Own contract eligibility and lifecycle rules: contract size, tick value, sessions, expiry, settlement, first notice day, physical delivery and mandatory closeout. Establish a controlled process for instrument changes.
Work with Risk and Treasury on house margin, intraday calls, liquidity reserves, collateral, liquidation and concentration. Test exchange and vendor outages, margin increases and positions approaching delivery.
Lead platform, API and back-office delivery with Engineering and Operations. Establish order controls, entitlements, allocations, statements, daily reconciliations, exception handling and support during relevant market hours.
Develop anchor broker and direct clients with Sales, train commercial and support teams, deliver client education and lead the specialist team. Use live economics and operational performance to improve the service and justify expansion.
